In this episode of “The REALLY, Real, Deal”, Reverend Craig announced his endorsement and hosted congressional candidate, Ms. Shion Fenty, much to the expressed consternation of her opponent, candidate, Ryan McAdams. On his behalf someone contacted our program’s station manager with a threat to report us to the FCC for “alleged campaign violations”, for giving more airtime to Shion Fenty than to Ryan McAdams, in spite of the fact that Ryan McAdams had previously guested on “The REALLY, Real, Deal”. Additionally, if the McAdams campaign desired a second interview rather than threaten us with unfounded and potentially expensive FCC fines and sanctions, all they had to do was simply ask, because in 10 years Reverend Craig has never turned a candidate away.
In the first hour of the program, Shion Fenty displayed class and wisdom. When her mother was invited to share a few words on the microphone she was simply annointed by God and spoke a very, very powerful word of knowledge and edification. She was truly an oracle, like an elder should be. It’s obvious where Shion Fenty gets her deep faith and passion. You MUST hear them both. Shion spoke no words against her opponent.
In the second hour we had Ryan McAdams on for 30 minutes. Please listen to both candidates and decide which one you think would represent us best against McEachin and the Democrat/Media swamp. You’ll see why I endorsed Shion Fenty. We have to attract and teach a whole new crop of voters if we are going to be viable in the future. Quibbling over minutiae like “she does not live in the district,” (McAdams’ argument) will not only fail to win but it’s totally dishonest to argue, because Shion has always lived in the 4th District, until the courts moved the boundaries. Shion Fenty had no control over that. The District left her, she didn’t leave the District. Shion’s residency is legally in compliance with federal law, and McAdams and his crew know this. As a pastor, Ryan should be very ashamed to do that to Shion. It’s definitely a good thing that the biblical woman who was to be stoned to death was brought to Jesus, and not to “Pious Ryan.”
I know these are long interviews, but try to make time to listen. The difference is stark. This is the future of the only political party where it’s semi- safe to express the “Seven Cs of a Successful Society:” Christian Faith, Conservative Values, Constitutional Limits, Capitalistic Opportunity, Choice in ALL Things, Confrontation With Evil, and Consistency In Application Of Law.
Shion Fenty has a very compelling life story that will be attractive to many who share our values, but since they don’t know it they vote against those values. We know that the Republicans will vote for either candidate in the general election, but there are many Democrats who have calluses on their hands and work boots on their feet (who are neither government cronies nor on the dole) that would potentially vote Republican with the right messenger.
Shion is strong. Shion is honest. Shion is passionate. Shion is articulate. Now, that’s a formula for success against McEachin and the Democrats.
