FOOD SHORTAGES IN THE BIBLE & TODAY IN THE U.S.A; PLUS, WHAT TO DO ABOUT THEM!
Welcome to Flashback Friday with The REALLY Real Deal. Today, we are looking back on my Sunday Message for April 24, 2022, titled, “Food Shortages in the Bible?”
So many times in the bible, God’s children are faced with one of the hardest decisions, “who will you trust?”
I talk about the major food processing plants that were destroyed all over the U.S., and in Canada.
Also in this message, we apply Exodus 1:10: “Come, let us deal wisely with them, lest they grow too numerous and join our enemy in war.”
When Joseph saved his family and the Egyptian people from starving, the food he wisely told Pharaoh to store up was not simply “given” to the people. It was “sold” to them.
Pharaoh owned everything, so when everyone ran out of money and ways to trade, they sold themselves into bondage.
They could have chosen instead to trust God to take care of them, just as He does for the lilies of the field and the Sparrow.
So, who will you trust?
God Bless y’all, and have a very Merry CHRISTmas!
