No Greater Love Part Two: D-day- 78 yrs ago: “Pink Bullets.”
It’s Flashback Friday with The REALLY Real Deal, and we are taking a look back at part one and part two of my memorial day sermons from this year (June 5, 2022).
My last post discussed part one of this two-part series. In this post, we review part two.
In Deuteronomy Ch 28, the Bible lists God’s blessings and curses that would come to a nation if they “Hearken diligently to the word of God; and if they observe and do the Commands of God, then he will set us above all the nation’s of the earth.”
Deuteronomy is full of verses that teach us how God is merciful to us. In Deuteronomy 28:1-14, He tells us the blessings He would bestow upon a nation that honors and obeys Him, as well as the curses that come with sin and the failure to do what is right in His sight.
This same chapter also addresses the topic of what God thinks about those who are “tender and delicate?” Deuteronomy 28:54-56.
We also remember that the youngest American soldier to see combat was 12 years old in WWII. He was 17 when he fought in Korea. There is an important question that comes with this knowledge. Did our military treat him the way the bible teaches us to treat children?
Rev. Craig goes into all of these details in his sermon. Watch it to learn more!
God Bless y’all!
