About Samaritans Purse Operation Christmas Child
Peggy Cross shares a special opportunity of giving that multiplies the Christmas spirit in the heart of a child through the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child Shoebox project. Operations Christmas Child not only seeks to meet the essential material needs of a child, but results in evangelism, discipleship, and multiplication of the ministry of Jesus Christ.
From children to seniors, people pack shoebox gifts each year to bless children in need around the world. Parents often use the project to teach their kids about giving. Year-round volunteers support these efforts across the country.
Samaritan’s Purse is a nondenominational evangelical Christian organization providing spiritual and physical aid to hurting people around the world. Since 1970, Samaritan’s Purse has helped meet needs of people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, disease, and famine with the purpose of sharing God’s love through His Son, Jesus Christ. The organization serves the Church worldwide to promote the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
