Our Sunday Message is from March 12, 2023. In light of Purim, this sermon focuses on the agenda against the Jewish people. We begin in the book of Esther.
The Gallows of Haman
In the book of Esther, we see how God allows the righteousness of Esther to hold the evil Haman accountable to the law. The gallows he built for God’s people became his demise.
Haman was a Government employee who manipulated the Law of the Persians and Medes (an unchangeable law) in an attempt to trick the King into a mass genocide of God’s people.
So the question I have for today is, will the righteous use the modern-day gallows to hold accountable those who are the modern version of Haman?
Now let’s look at the book of Daniel.
We see the exact same treatment and agenda of God’s chosen people in this very book.
It begins with King Darius. He loved Daniel so much that he wanted to make him the leader of all the kingdoms of Babylon.
However, King Darius had wise men who quickly became jealous of the favor Daniel held in the eyes of the king.
“Finally, these men said, We will never find any basis for charges against this man Daniel unless it has something to do with the law of his God.” Daniel 6:5-9
So out of envy, the wise men set a trap for Daniel. They tricked King Darius into making it illegal to serve the one true God.
But God worked a miracle in the predicament Daniel found himself in. He shut the mouths of all the lions so that Daniel remained unharmed.
When you read further, you will see how King Darius rejoiced that Daniel was alive! He threw the evil wise men into the very same den of lions they threw Daniel into. Then, he changed the law that condemned Daniel and taught every kingdom to revere and fear God.
“For he is the living God
and he endures forever;
his kingdom will not be destroyed,
his dominion will never end.
He rescues and he saves;
he performs signs and wonders
in the heavens and on the earth.
He has rescued Daniel
from the power of the lions.”
Daniel 6:23-27
Take a look at another attack that was planned on God’s people.
85 years ago, on March 12, 1938, the German NAZI army took over Austria, without firing a single shot.
This was a planned extermination of the Jewish people using the same age-old agenda that almost every government has used to carry out this task.
But God prevailed again, as He always does. Today, Israel has a country; the NAZIS do not.
But the agenda is still very much alive and active in the modern day.
We have NAZI leaders all over the world, even in the US. Biden, Obama, Schumer, Fauci, Schwab, Xi, Zuckerberg, Gates, Soros, Fizer, and Fox are just a few of the politicians that continue to push the NAZI agenda against God’s people.
Will You Hold Them Accountable?
Are God’s people going to courageously hold them accountable, as shown in the Bible in the Books of Ester and Daniel?
Is the US going to hold trials like the Nuremberg Trials after WWII?
Or will weak political leaders, like Rodney King, who want us all to “get along” commit a big sin of omission by not using the modern “gallows of Haman” against those who created them, the way the Word of God tells us?
