THE STRONG DELUSION
Welcome to Wayback Wednesday with The REALLY Real Deal. Today, we are taking a look back at our Sunday Message from June 12, 2022 called, “The Strong Delusion.”
The title of today’s message is from chapter 2 of Second Thessalonians. Today’s world is full of lies and delusions. We think of them as only coming from Satan, or from wicked people yielded to Satan’s evil spirits.
What does God’s word say about it?
“…and God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie.”
Why would God do that? “…because they received not the love of truth.”
As shown through scripture, it is not God being unfair to some decent people. It is God weeding out those who use the free will he gave them to believe the many lies being circulated today.
The J-6 lie. The gender lies. The “Brown people are under assault by white supremacy” lie. The guns are the problem lie. The baby in the womb is not yet a baby lie.
We are UNDER DELUSION if we think we are in a holy relationship with God, while simultaneously supporting race hate, sexualizing children, using the criminal justice system to punish white Republicans, taking guns from decent people, and bearing false witness against conservatives.
