AND THE WORD BECAME FLESH…
Hello folks, welcome to The REALLY Real Deal. I want to wish CHRISTmas Blessings to you all!
I posted a short 2022 CHRISTmas message on my Facebook this past Sunday, so I wanted to post it here too, just in case you missed it.
CHRISTmas is a celebration of God humbly becoming a man to fulfill the prophecy in Genesis when it says, “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel” (Genesis 3:15, KJV).
This prophecy referred to God the Son (the seed of Eve), Jesus Christ. For without the birth of our Savior on earth, He wouldn’t have crushed the serpents head when He rose up from the grave. He took back the keys of death because He will forever be victorious over Satan’s evil agenda against the Bride of Christ.
In 1 Corinthians 15:55, the writer proclaims our victory in Jesus when he says “O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”
The Word Dwelt Among Us…
The Word became flesh, and dwelt among us so that the Light of the World could inhabit the earth with sinners. In doing so, He made it so that we will be free for eternity! We must accept his free and selfless gift of Love: Eternal Life with our creator, God!
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in the darkness, and the darkness perceived it not.” -John 1:1-5.
“See, what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!” – 1 John 3:1.
So, because of this beautiful act of Love for His creation, we celebrate the human birth of the “Light.” The Son of God as a man, so that men could become a reflection of that Light as “Sons of God.”
God Bless y’all!
