Welcome to Wayback Wednesday with The REALLY Real Deal. The message we are reviewing today is from March 20, 2022: “Time: Who Can Discern It?”
This sermon focuses on Luke, Chapter 12: “How is it that you do not discern this time?” What Luke wrote about in this chapter gives us insight into today’s issues.
We live in a time of many great evils. Look at evils at work in our society- biomanipulation, the war on freedom of speech, and moral values. These corruptions fight against all Godliness, and in the favor of every evil thing alive.
Jesus spoke of being ready, wise, and faithful. We are also called to be constant in prayer, and ultimately thankful for every good and perfect gift that comes from our Father in Heaven.
We need to ask God to “teach us to number our days, That we may gain a heart of wisdom.” As it says in Psalm 90:12.
The time we spend on earth is so small compared to the time we will spend in eternity. Remembering that our days are numbered will encourage us to live according to the law of God.
