Truth: The Great Divider
Welcome to The REALLY Real Deal and our Sunday Message for December 11, 2022.
Truth is a big divider in today’s world.
But, the Word of God calls us to be like Jesus, and in order to be a reflection of His image, we must speak the truth:
“To this end was I born, and for this cause I came into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone that is of the truth hears my voice.” – John 18:37
Basic anatomy, basic science, basic math, actual provable history (with written or video evidence), are not accepted as truth by many today.
And yet Jesus said people of truth hear his voice- not everyone who celebrates the “Happy Holidays.”
Many will not even accept that statement as true, even though it was said by Jesus Christ himself!
I’m just repeating it and expounding on it.
At this point in history, we can see how truth can divide a society. We don’t even have the correct translation of God’s Word.
With this in mind, I point out the proof which shows that Luke 2:14 says “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth, peace to men of goodwill.”
NOT “peace on earth, goodwill to all men.”
