About the Virginia Christian Alliance
Don Blake is Chairman and President of The Virginia Christian Alliance (VCA), which was founded January 8, 2009.
Originally conceived as a Richmond only entity, it was soon decided to expand VCA’s reach state-wide. As noted on the VCA website, the mission of the Virginia Christian Alliance is to promote moral, social and scientific issues faced today from a Biblical point of view. VCA refutes and opposes (not with hate but with facts and humor) the secular cultural abuses that have overridden laws and standards of conduct of the past.
VCA encourages Christians to join them and participate in their efforts through:
- conferences
- developing position papers
- booklets and tract
- radio/TV spots
- newspaper ads
- articles
- letters-to-the editor
- web sites
- newsletters, and
- by providing their speakers for church and civic meetings
While non-denominational, VCA believes in the fundamentals of the Christian Faith:
- that the Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God, and
- that there is one God existent in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
