Jesus says, “I came into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.” John 18.
As Jesus stood in front of Pontius Pilate, he continued to stand firm in his purpose on earth: “to bear witness unto the truth,” even when faced with death.
As Pilate contemplated who Jesus was, he became confused. He knew this man that stood before him claimed to be the Messiah. He knew the many works and wonders Jesus had done during his ministry. And most of all, he knew he needed to make a tough decision, but did he have the strength to do it? Was his decision based on what is right?
The “Deep State” is similar to ancient Persia in the way that persecution is allowed or done to those they know they “can find no fault.” (Daniel chapter 6).
For instance, J-6 and Trump. Unjust judges continue to make decisions according to the two-tier justice system in America.
