America, Wilt Thou Be Made Whole?
America, “WILT THOU BE MADE WHOLE ?”
Jesus asked this of the lame man, who for 38 years had attempted to get a miraculous cure by rushing into water that had been “troubled” by an angel ( John 5:6).
In these troubling times, this is the question that America is facing. This is the question that is being asked of those who, for many years, have had many forms of lameness; those who want an overnight “super natural” cure for what ails them and their institutions.
This question is asked of the Christian Church, of our Nation, of our states, of our communities, of our institutions, of our families, and of each one of us as individuals: “Wilt thou be made whole ?”
